The Residences
Our Berlin residence is located in the trendiest
district of town,
Prenzlauer Berg. Scarcely destroyed during the Second
World
War the district today with its hundreds of galleries,
boutiques,
cafés and clubs composes the centre of the new Berlin
avantgarde.
The did deutsch-institut residence is located in a nice
and
quiet backyard at the famous street Schönhauser Allee.
The students
live in double and triple rooms offering en-suite
bathroom
and toilet facilities. A wardrobe with safe is allocated
to each
bed. There is cleaning service of the rooms and the
bathrooms
every day. Sheets and towels are changed every four
days. |

The Höchst residence is located in a former medieval
monastery
that serves as a conference center for the Protestant
Church during
the rest of the year. For the summer months July and
August
did deutsch-institut rents the monastery that includes
high
standard classrooms, bedrooms and a big assembly hall as
well
as leisure rooms and a large park. There are facilities
for playing
football, basket ball, for having barbecues or simply
lying
lazily in the sun. The double and triple bedrooms are
very comfortable.
There are bathrooms with WC and showers as well as
a room for a person in charge (leader) on every floor. |
